Something about me - Staphylococcus aureus
Hi... for beginners I wanna introduce myself as a Prokaryote.. Ha ha.. Got you there 😼 Ok Ok.. Jokes aside... I'm a single celled being, with no nucleus.. so that's why I'm a Prokaryote.. more precisely a Bacteria.. I'm sure many are already familiar with the latter term, thanks to all those hand wash and disinfectant commercials.. And I'm a spherical bacteria or otherwise called as a coccus or berry like bacteria. And We love our family so much so that we never lose our bond.. Literally... After continuous division in the three planes we do not separate from each other but instead cluster together like a bunch of grapes... That's why you humans call our Genus as "Staphylococcus" .. Pretty nice name, one would say. Our species, forms colonies which are golden yellow, pretty royal.. So Our species is named as Staphylococcus aureus.
