A CONFESSION.... (which I never made)

 

How do I say it?

That your smile

Brings color to my dull day,

That the very thought of you,

Makes me want to live;

That your call is the one

I expect every time,

When my phone rings.

 

How do I say it?

That you are the one,

Who completes me;

That without you,

I feel worthless;

That you always

Make me feel content.

 

How do I say it?

That when you are sad,

My heart breaks;

That when you don’t speak,

My mind goes blank;

That when you avoid me,

My very existence ceases to exist.

 

How do I say it?

That only you,

Understands me so well;

That only you,

Can make me spill secrets;

That only you ,

Can make me jealous.

 

How do I say it?

That you completes me,

That you are my soul mate,

That I can wait forever for you,

That I love you so much…….

I wrote this poem a while back thinking about my first love 💕. 

Back then, I was not confident enough to confess to him 😓

Well, I'm not confident even now...

I wonder how he is doing....

Has he found the love of his life ? Did he know about me having a crush on him back then ?

How is he doing now ?

Sometimes I wonder about these things, and once again think about the emotions he stirred within me with a single glance...

I hope everything works out well for him...
