This is a time which we have only seen in movies so far....a world wide epidemic forcing everyone indoors. When you are forced inside away from your daily routine, what can you do to avoid boredom? Well, one of the methods is to watch one or two interesting movies a day which can pique your slumbering curiosity. So, here are some interesting must watch movies of your lifetime for this lockdown...
1. ARRIVAL
This is a must watch if you are a sci-fi fan. 12 alien spaceships are stationed in 12 parts of earth including USA, China, Russia etc. and all those nations are trying to communicate with the aliens. Linguist Dr Louise Banks and Physicist Ian Donelly are selected for the same purpose in the USA. The story then revolves around these characters and the heptapods (aliens) who communicate with them in a strange sign language. This is an exceptional and unique film apart from all the alien movies made so far. It also focuses on the international crises and state of unrest following alien arrival.
Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner have made this one of the memorable visual experiences I ever had. The entire beauty of the film is only visualized at the end of the movie, where a wonderful twist awaits the viewers.
2. VIRUS
This is a 2019 medical thriller, based on the 2018 Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala, a South Indian State. This is one of the best Malayalam movies of all times which carefully portrays the spread of a deadly virus, and how the health workers work relentlessly to contain its spread. The film brilliantly tells the nightmare story of Kerala and how they successfully controlled the infection.
