     K-pop, the genre of popular music originating from South Korea, which has now gained world wide popularity. I'm an avid K-pop fan and have been for about 3 years. If you are still a stranger to k-pop world, well, you are missing a lot. So, here is a list of 10 k-pop songs which will make you fall in love with them! 1. "ON" - BTS

           "On" is a song by the South Korean boy band BTS, and has debuted at number 4 on the US BillBoard Hot 100. The official music video, after its release, reached 10 million views within an hour. The video includes references of many TV shows and movies including, The Maze Runner, Game of thrones, Narnia etc.. The MV has got many stunning visuals not to mention the wonderful choreography and coordinated performance.

2. "FOREVER" - EXO

          "Forever"is a song by another Korean Boy band EXO, from their album "The War". This song has influenced me with its brilliant music and great lyrics, with the sufficient amount of rap. The promise given to the fandom, that they'll protect you in the darkness and hold you close forever were seriously sweet.

3. "ONE MORE TIME"- Super Junior

          It is the first EP by the South Korean Boy band Super Junior, and it is from their first Latin pop album. The song is marked by beautiful music which makes you hear the song again and again. A tentative love story is mentioned in the song. The reluctance to fall in love and later the reluctance to part were beautifully merged in the lyrics.

4."SHINE" -Pentagon

            This was one of the big hits of K-pop released by the boy band Pentagon. With its simple lyrics, playful music and light hearted theme, this song soon became one of my favourites. To be honest I noticed the song more after I saw the protagonists in the k drama "Beautiful love, wonderful life" performing it inside the drama. When someone tells you, ' I get strength just by looking at you', what do you feel? I would get the feeling of butterflies in my stomach. The lyrics are just that. They fill you with a flutter. But in another angle this is a cute work out song.

 5." ROUND AND ROUND" - SF9

          One of the iconic songs by the boy band SF9, "Round and round" is beautiful with its melodious background music and simple yet catchy lyrics. It is a conversation to a lover who is not giving a decisive answer. The frustration at getting no clear answers, is hidden inside the ear catchy music. Just give it a go.

6. "BOOMERANG"- Wanna One

           This song fits into the genres of hip-hop and electro. The music video is equipped with a unique choreography and hip hop music. It's again another love song in a way. Every girl would like to have a man who only looks at her. This song just elevates your standards in choosing a lover.

7. "ONE DAY"- Infinite

           This is one of the most beautiful heart touching k pop song because of its heart wrenching lyrics. The wonderful music and nostalgic music makes this song different from others. The regret in not being able to understand the pain your loved one, not being able to be with them earlier can be heard from this beautiful song. When you love someone so much so that it hurts, I think, that is the feeling you get from this song.

8. "HELLEVATOR"- Stray Kids

           A rap hip hop song with catchy lyrics and fast pacing choreography by the boy band Stray kids. The lyrics and hauntingly wonderful music makes this song unique. The dark days of one's life will always haunt you for some time in your life. When you felt nothing but hopelessness, when you felt everything was useless, but you still held onto some little hope, and survived those days. This song depicts those raw feelings through strong lyrics and heavy music.

9." REMEMBER ME"- Victon

          This one is an emotional song by the boy band Victon. The beautiful lyrics and sweet music along with stunning visuals of the MV are sure to stay long in your memory. A song about a beautiful break up- that's how I would love to call this one. When the love of one person disappears from a relationship, and they want to leave, even when the other person loves them so dearly, that is the premise of this song. In love, the person who loves more is the loser. That is actually true. But when you genuinely love and care for someone, you will be able to break up with them peacefully, without causing guilt or pressure on them. That careful attitude is shown so deeply in the lyrics.

          One of the iconic songs by Got7, "Just right" is an encouraging song asking you to be confident in yourself. This sweet song and its wonderful MV can always bring a smile to your face. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Even though you, yourself feel that you are not pretty, but you will be forever lovely in the eyes of those care for you. This wonderful message is what everyone needs in this era of plastic beauty.
